Yes. Gaita Lab objects are designed and made in small batches in our Turin studio, with a focus on materials, craftsmanship and thoughtful production.

Because of the handmade nature of our work, slight variations in colour, texture, shape or finish may occur. These are part of the character of each piece and make every object unique.

Standard shipping: €9.90
Free shipping on orders of €60 or more.

European Union
Standard shipping: €19.90
Free shipping on orders of €120 or more.

Shipping rates are calculated according to the destination available at checkout.

At the moment, online shipping is available to Italy and European Union countries. International destinations outside the EU will be introduced separately.

How long does delivery take?

Estimated delivery times are:

European Union: 5–8 business days

Can I request a different colour or variation?

Some Gaita Lab pieces are available in different colours, sizes or configurations. Available options are shown on the individual product page.

For requests that are not available online, please contact us and we will let you know whether the piece can be customised.

Do you make custom or bespoke pieces?

Yes. Depending on the project, Gaita Lab can develop custom pieces, small series and personalised objects.

Custom work may involve additional design, development, prototyping and production costs depending on the request.

Please contact us with a brief description of your project, desired quantity and timing.

Do you make wedding favours or pieces for events?

Yes. Gaita Lab can create pieces for weddings, celebrations, corporate gifts and special events, subject to quantity, timing and production availability.

For larger quantities, please contact us for a dedicated quotation.

Can I return an order?

Yes. You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order, in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.

Products must be returned unused, in their original condition and with their original packaging and tags where applicable.

Before sending anything back, please contact Gaita Lab for return instructions.

Who pays for return shipping?

Unless the product is faulty or an incorrect item was sent, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as the customer remains responsible for the parcel until it reaches Gaita Lab.

Can personalised or custom-made products be returned?

Products made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised cannot normally be returned under the standard right of withdrawal, except where legally required, for example in the case of defects or non-conformity.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Gaita Lab offers secure payment through Shopify.

Available payment methods may include major credit and debit cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Satispay, depending on the customer's device, location and eligibility.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes. Gaita Lab gift cards are available in both digital and printed versions.

Digital gift cards are delivered by email and include a unique code that can be used online or in store. The recipient can also check the remaining gift card balance online.

If you prefer a physical gift, a printed gift card is available for purchase and pickup at Gaita Lab Store & Studio in Turin. It includes a unique code that can also be used both online and in store.

Gift cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Any remaining balance can be used for future purchases within the validity period.

What materials does Gaita Lab use?

Paper and paper-derived materials are at the heart of Gaita Lab's research.

Collections explore materials such as washable paper, handmade and recycled papers, alongside other materials including metal wire and wood, chosen according to the function and character of each object.
